"Fabulous in every way"
We had read the review of this restaurant in the NY Times and couldn't wait to have dinner there. We were not disappointed. Lovely, seaside décor and great food was exceeded only by our wonderful server, Carol. She was so friendly and welcoming as was the bartender who wanted to make certain the wine we ordered was to our liking. We can't say enough about what a fabulous night out for dinner we had.

"Lovely lunch place"
I almost don't want to review the Boatyard as it's becoming so popular there we've had to wait for a table on our last few visits! If you are looking for a light lunch of fresh seafood or a filling dinner of lobster and mash here is your place. The setting inside is delightful with a lovely draped conservatory and tastefully decorated nautical theme. The staff are busy but friendly and the food is top quality. I recommend the monkfish scampi and open crab and shrimp salad. All finished off with a glass of Creans lager. Yum.

"We will be back!"
When you are in Dingle, you definitely have to go to the Boatyard and have the "Taste of Dingle Bay Crab - it's the best I've ever eaten. We've been there several times, and it's so worth the 1.5 hour drive from our holiday home. The food is excellent, the stuff friendly and attentive and the atmosphere absolutely wonderful. Can't wait for the next time!.

"Went twice in one day..."
...yes, lunch was so good that we decided to go back for dinner, and we weren't disappointed! At lunch we had two of their specials and at dinner we had the seafood platter for two...amazing! The food was fresh and hot, the service was friendly and fast...what else can be said about a restaurant. So whenever you visit lovely Dingle town, stop into the Boatyard, right across the street from the docks, and have a wonderful well priced meal!.

"Great Place for a group"
I hosted a hen party here for a group of 20 girls - food was fab and plenty of it, service was delightful. I personally havent had a better Eton Mess and they created a special dessert for the Bride at no extra cost. For the quality of food and service I would have expected to pay a lot more than we did - will definately be back!.

"Excellent and good value for money"
This restaurant was so good I ate here twice. I'm local and intend going back again very soon. It's so lovely to see crab on the menu and it was to die for! The first night I had the selection of crab (claws, crab cake, crab quiche and a cup of chowder) and on the second night (a week later) we had the special meal for two people. Both nights were great and I wish I could go every night as there is lots to choose from. The service from locals working there was quick and friendly. I wish them the best of luck as they deserve it..

"How fresh do you want it?"
The siting of the restaurant is lovely with views over the harbour. The menu is extensive with a large selection of daily specials. What we loved was the apology for the sea bass not being available yet as they were waiting for the boat to return which was catching it! Instead we opted for tuna steaks which we were told had been caught that day and they were beautifully cooked. The service was efficient and the staff delightfully friendly..
